​Welcome to my website! I am an  assistant professor at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. ​I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University in 2022. 

My research examines how firms adapt to shifts in their external environment. First, I study how demand inertia and geographic heterogeneity in demand influence the novelty, direction, and scope of firms’ new products. Second, I examine how firms respond strategically to population aging, focusing on how the aging of managers, workers, and customers affects firms’ innovation and human capital management.​
